Preparing a shipment
The comparison service uses postcodes and parcel specifications to request transport offers. To prepare a draft, MD2 stores sender and recipient names, addresses and phone numbers, the billing address, your email, and the declared parcel contents and value. This information is for the D2 team handling your request. Quotes expire after 15 minutes and drafts after 24 hours; they are deleted during the next daily cleanup. A necessary session cookie, valid for 24 hours, links your quotes during this process. A hash of your IP address limits abusive requests and expires after two hours. This form does not collect bank details. The conditions for payment and actual shipment will be provided before these services open.
The information you provide
The form collects your name, company, email address, the subject of your enquiry and your message. You may also provide a phone number. Required fields are identified in the form. Please limit your message to information useful for assessing your needs and avoid including sensitive data or unnecessary personal information about other people.
How your request is used
The information submitted is used to understand your needs, contact you and follow up on the discussion. It is intended for the people handling your enquiry and the technical providers involved in operating the website. Sending a message does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise commercial communications unrelated to your request.
Your rights and contact point
You can write to contact@d2-group.fr to request access to, correction or deletion of your information and to exercise other rights applicable to your situation, including objection to or restriction of processing. Please specify your request and the contact details used in your correspondence. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, at cnil.fr.
Retention and protection of requests
Contact requests are intended to be retained for three years from the date they are recorded. Technical information used to limit abusive submissions is retained for twenty-four hours. You can request further details or deletion of your request at contact@d2-group.fr. A subsequent business relationship may require separate documents and retention periods suited to applicable obligations.
Browsing and external services
Browsing this website does not sign you up to a third-party service. Some links, including the client portal, lead to separate services whose privacy rules apply when you use them.
